Born on 25th July 1951 in Ladmanlow to Fred and Margery Harrison, Mum went to school at Burbage and then started work at the Co-Op shoe shop in Buxton before joining Otter Controls at 18. Mum met Dad and they got married on the 13th November 1976. On 5th January 1982, Mum's full-time role turned to housewife after I was born. In February 2006, Mum became ill and was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. Thanks to the excellent care and treatment Mum received at Christies hospital, her life was prolonged enabling her to be at my civil partnership with Hayley in 2010 - which meant the world to us both. Mum passed away on 1st November 2012 and is missed enormously by us all. Not a day goes by without thinking of her. She was the most caring, considerate and honest person I have ever met and I was so lucky to have been able to call her Mum. In memory of Mum, I wanted to set up this tribute page as a lasting remembrance of her life. Every challenge I undertake will be done with Mum in my heart. Love you Mum xxx
